We don’t know too much about this just yet, but what we do know is that every Fashionista’s highstreet Mecca is branching out into wedding gowns. Yes that’s right Voyeurs, Topshop is about to spice up your wedding…
With just one simple, chic campaign image featuring Victoria’s Secret model Maggie Grace to tease the forthcoming collection, it’s clear to see that this is no ordinary highstreet bridal range.
The debut collection is set to include five wedding dresses starting at £350 and a larger selection of bridesmaid dresses starting at £85. The capsule collection will also include accessories and bridal lingerie, and there’s mention that there may be a small range of bridal shoes set to drop at a later date.
After the success of ASOS’s widely accessible highstreet bridal range, both Whistle’s and Lipsy are set to follow suit and take their first steps into the highly lucrative world of bridal fashion with their own capsule collections too opening the gates for more highstreet retailers to follow.
With the highstreet moving at a faster pace that the couture calendar, fashionable, streetwise brides will be able to tap into more current, seasonal trends for a fraction of the price of leading bridal wear boutiques.
So, when does the collection drop? That’s anyone’s guess but I’d say we could be looking at the brand new Topshop Bride from Easter 2017 onwards.
Keep ’em peeled Voyeurs
