We’ve known for a while that Topshop were planning on unveiling a bridal collection and now it’s finally here! With 5 key bridal styles and a whopping 25 bridesmaid dresses to choose from, the collection dropped this morning and is now available to buy at Topshop online here.
The bridal collection comprises a variety of styles including the classic bridal silhouette, a 1920’s style beaded dress and a festival inspired lace Bardot style gown. For a high street retailer as big as Topshop it would be crazy not to add in a high street bridal range to their ever growing portfolio and there’s been no expense spared in the production of these limited edition wedding gowns. Each style has been designed with intricate detailing including floral appliqués in silk organza, fine, gathered tulle, silver split threads and hand stitched beading. There’s a strong vintage influence across the entire collection and there’s nothing high street looking about any of it. Even the prices are high end with bridal gowns starting at £350 and rising to £750 for the most expensive piece.
The most underrated part of the range, the bridesmaid collection, is probably the best bit. The bridal gowns are amazing and are everything I would have expected from Topshop, but the bridesmaid dresses are not only on trend, they’re also affordable and elegant. They’re so on trend in fact, they could be worn as a stand alone item for an event, the deep midnight blue is achingly current for a Summer wedding and with prices as low as £85, it’s likely you’ll be seeing a lot more added to this range in the future as the current collection flies out the door.
To complete the Topshop bridal look, you’ll find a core collection of pretty bridal lingerie for every style of dress, a dedicated bridal beauty range, and a collection of bridal accessories including vintage style chandelier earrings and on trend ear climbers as well as beaded hair combs. The really great thing though is that each bridal piece is limited edition to maintain some level of exclusivity. That means that when they’re gone, they really are gone so if there’s something you like, get over to the site and get it ordered! The Topshop Bride collection will be refreshed regularly with brand new styles that reflect the classic bridal aesthetic and more current pieces too, so there really is something for everyone but you’ll need to be quick to grab a piece of this collection before it’s gone forever!
